This is a must-read for anyone interested in the history Latinos in the U.S. It is a thoughtful and compassionate look at the realities of hard-working yet marginalized migrant farm workers. I will be looking for Dr. Flores' next book.
Love the book, it's a keeper.
Labor Unionism in American agricultural has been destroyed by the corporate farm interests and the state governments. This book chronicles Mexican Americans in their attempt at organization.
