These are fun books. I like the progression but the pacing was a little slower in the book. That was offset by the MC learning much more about his magic. Not many new characters in this one however there was progression towards the larger goal. The MASTER....I enjoy this slow contemplative progression and like the inevitable new discoveries. Looking forward to number 3
This book picks up right where the first book ended. It has many appealing parts to it. I love the foreshadowing to bigger and more dangerous enemies. The magic system gets new additions. This authors books are addicting as all get out. Can't wait for the next one in this series.
Not as good as the first one, but okay. My biggest complaint is the m c try’s to be witty.. and he just isn’t. He comes across as kind of a jerk. Nothing new,interesting,funny or sexy so all in all it’s extremely okay
Love this series , characters and storyline are awesome . Laugh out loud dialogue and plenty of action in and out of bed. Really looking forward to next book in the series. Highly recommended
This book was awesome and did not disappoint. The book leaves off directly after book 1 and progresses the story very nicely without seeming rushed. It leaves you very excited for book 3.
Another fun read and entertaining story. I am hoping to see a drastic increase in the contributions of the ladies and their capabilities to balance the MC so the story doesn't remain quite so hyper focused. All in all a fun read.
Even better than the first book. The characters are just great and the they enter act with one another, just makes the book. It’s a great book that I highly recommend.
love how the story continues... though as an engineer i see a couple errors... but magic will make them right... you will enjoy it immensely...
