Gerald W. Kaufman was in private practice as a therapist for 34 years. He served as a consultant to nursing homes for 15 years. His Masters in Social Work is from Indiana University. L. Both Gerald and Marlene dealt extensively with family issues in their practices, including aging and end of life. I chose this book because I need to have necessary conversations with my father who is hard to have these kinds of conversations with. Maybe more is that I need to have these conversations with my children so that they are free to help their parents in the end of life process.Easy to read, good suggestions and ideas for both talking with parents who are aging and making conversation easier with children when as I continue to age.
